The beautiful Harvesting Cabinet and spectacular Montessori materials makes growing produce and the independence of the child a viable option for the prepared environment.
Trays and planters allow repetition in the prepared environment.
Inner trays are self-draining, allowing the child to monitor water levels.
Inviting tools like the salad spinner and the scissors generate interest and develop skills.

Brush
The brush fits conveniently in the child's hands and simplifies clean up.
Compost Bucket with Handle
This is one of two compost buckets. The handle helps the smaller child reach it on an upper shelf.
Harvest Tray
The Harvest Tray, made of food-grade aluminum, is rust free while being lightweight and rigid for maneuvering.
Microgreen Planting Trays
These plastic planting trays are self-draining and extremely durable.
Spray Pump
This spray bottle can be hand pumped to provide pressure for spraying.
Squeegee
These squeegees are great for cleaning...and picking up worms from flat surfaces without hurting them.
Tile Tray Holder
A small square tray to place on the counter for holding the weights during the plant care exercises.
Ceramic Weights
These weights fit perfectly inside our Microgreen Planters.
Tongs
Some of my favourite tongs, these ones have a spring opening and silicone tips.
Small Watering Can
This little stainless steel watering can prevents over watering and spilling from the top with the covered edge.
How are the wooden cabinets protected from water damage?
The cabinets are finished with a high quality, water resistant and non-toxic finish, but like any wood product, standing water can damage the wooden surfaces.
We do recommend that you take plan to take steps to prevent water damage as soon as your cabinets arrive. This will keep your cabinets in pristine condition for many years.
- We have found that clear contact shelf paper is effective to keep standing water off the shelves.
- It protects the shelf surface while allowing the beauty of the wood still shine through.
- We recommend that you apply the contact paper immediately before use (while you are assembling the cabinets).
- We also include a small tube of silicone sealant,
- apply to the wooden joints on the countertop, as you assemble the cabinet.

The first step in setting up a NatureTot System is to decide between two products:
- Purchase one of two products:
· The Full NatureTot System: where everything is provided for you, including cabinets, curated materials and the online Masterclass
OR
· NatureTot System Masterclass: an online training course providing guidance on what materials and exercises are needed to integrate a simple cycle of life in your class.
- Once you have made either purchase, you are given access to any of our other products. You are also enrolled as a member of the NatureTot Community. This allows you to purchase any of our products at anytime.
- After your free community membership expires (3 or 6 months, depending on your purchase) you continue to get access to the course, community and products by maintaining your membership in the NatureTot Community for $9US/month.
The products are compatible with each other and will work on the Full NatureTot System, so you could build your system up over years. Happy building!
I have very little space in my class. Do you have a product that would help me bring the life cycle in my prepared environment?
Yes, we understand that some schools are particularly limited in space. We have a new product coming for this! It is a compact variation of the Harvesting Cabinet, providing you with repetition and growing space but without the same space consumption. It is also modular, so you will be able to choose your size. This will work well for small classes or even families. Coming this spring!
Will this meet my licensing requirements?
