Cabinets for Every Stage of MicroGreen Growth
Thoughtfully designed cabinets that fit beautifully into your Montessori classroom.
Cabinet #1 Planting
This is where little hands play the role of nature's helpers. Inside, a mix of worm castings and soil form a perfect cradle for tiny seeds. It's a vibrant activity center where children engage in simple tasks – folding, spooning, measuring, and watering. This cabinet isn't just for soil and water activities; it's a gateway to the wonders of life, where every scoop of soil and every drop of water creates that first sense of connection with nature in the child.
- Stainless steel countertops
- Extra storage space on the backside
- Water resistant finishes

Order aids child and adult.

Intimacy with seeds, plants and soil.

Developing life skills.

Cabinet #2 Harvesting
Immerse the children in nature with the most colorful of the three cabinets. The heart of our little green world brings the micro-green seeds to their grand finale, where harvest is celebrated. It's a stage filled with joy and learning, where children engage in tasks like watering, misting, cutting, pouring, and the playful spinning of greens. Each activity immerses them in nature, keeping their hands busy and their minds enthralled in the wonder of growth.
- Locking Wheels
- Germination shelf with circulation fan
- Full spectrum LED’s for plant growth

Windowed Sides
The open sides are a vivid frame of greenery, capturing the child’s interest and extending an invitation to participate. The perfectly formed openings create a sense of expansiveness, blurring the boundaries between nature and the class.
A Compact Harvesting Cabinet is Coming Soon!
Our newest cabinet, the Compact Cabinet, will provide an option for Montessori classrooms with limited space or those with budget restrictions. It will not provide the same workspace or storage for learning materials as the standard cabinets do. These will need to be incorporated into your environment, but it will make repetition possible.
The excitement of results!

A treasured workspace.

Observable changes entice.

Cabinet #3 Composting
Our current model of the Composting Cabinet is protected by a simple and elegant curtain, to "let the worms sleep" while providing increased air movement for hot climates. The curtains can be tied back by a beautiful twisted cord attached to the cabinet, allowing the worm composter tray to be rolled out into the classroom.
- A composter trolley
- Washable curtains
- Curtain tiebacks

A Special Trolley for the Worm Composter
An independent, wheeled compost tray is a marvelous feature of the Composting Cabinet. It provides the worms with a safe, dark space, creating a ‘home’ for them in the class, while also allowing easy care. Fully removable, often a small group of fascinated children gathers around the worm composter.
Fascinating for the child.

Nature in their hands.

Built for the child.

Bring a Vibrant Community to Your Children
The NatureTot System helps you create a vibrant community in your classroom, based on nature and interdependence. Community is the work of many, creating something bigger than its parts. It creates belonging and sense of self worth. Each work progresses the cycle of life. Each contribution is significant, no matter how small. The adult’s contribution as observer and guide is equally important to the quiet work of plant and worm.
